Who Do We Help?

Everyone has imbalances, or deals with chronic pain, or muscle tightness, and tension. We even work on people who feel great and want to just improve their flexibility.

Some of our most notable clients are:

Seniors

Improving flexibility in the legs, lower back, and hip joints is important in the prevention of falling in older adults. Stretching benefits also include maintenance of strength, improved overall flexibility, improved posture, and increased circulation and blood flow, to provide a greater quality of life and healthy aging.

Chronic Pain

Your STRETCHMED™ Stretch Therapist knows the appropriate stretches and techniques to help alleviate knee pain, low back pain, hip pain, sciatica, shin splints, shoulder pain, and more!

Athletes

Flexibility is a key component of agility and balance, which is important in all sports and athletic events. It is also vital in maximizing strength and power through a full range of motion. That means you can run faster, jump higher, reach further, swing and throw harder with increased flexibility.

golfers

Flexibility is vital for a great golf swing! If you want to improve your swing from back-swing to follow through, the STRETCHMED™ 1-on-1 assisted stretch program is for you!

sedentary desk workers

The human body was designed to move! We were not designed to sit at a desk or in a car for long hours and extended periods of time without moving. This can lead to imbalances and pain chronic back and hip pain. Your STRETCHMED™ Stretch Therapist knows exactly how to help alleviate the tension in the affected joints to get you standing straight, tall, and pain free!

Yoga enthusiasts

Get deeper into your yoga poses, and take your practice to a new level!

What Makes Us Better?

Our corporate team – Founder & President, Director of Support, and Director of Stretch – are degreed exercise physiologists and athletic trainers with a combined over 50 years of hands-on experience delivering various PNF, static, and dynamic stretching techniques across many demographics and age ranges. With that, we hold our therapists to the highest standard in the industry. In order to be considered for the STRETCHMED™ Certified Stretch Therapist (CST) training program, all candidates must have a related degree and have been in the industry for at least 3 years. We have a variety of related backgrounds on our team – Athletic Trainers, Exercise Physiologists, and Muscular Therapists to name a few. All must complete our rigorous CST training program, which includes 3D4 Medical “Complete Anatomy”, the word’s most advanced 3D anatomy platform.

We are not the only ones to do 1-on-1 assisted stretching. We just do it the best!

1-on-1 Stretch

With a STRETCHMED™ Stretch Therapist as your partner you are able to have appropriate and constant resistance while maintaining optimal control of your breathing, core, arms, and legs. Your STRETCHMED™ Stretch Therapist understands exactly which joints to stabilize and where they need to apply steady tension, allowing you to relax while being moved in a variety of positions. Unlike Pilates and Yoga, which have a workout component, the STRETCHMED™ 1-on-1 assisted stretch program, allows you to kick your shoes off (literally!), take a break, relax, and rejuvenate!
